Homes With Horse Racing Tracks For Sale

Whether you’re in the market for a competitive hunter jumper barn, a barrel racing training facility, or a laid back western pleasure and trail riding location, finding the right property with the right horse track is important. Thankfully, there are numerous homes with horse racing tracks for sale across the United States. Whether you’re looking for the ultimate race-ready home or simply a place to house your horses, this article provides an inside look at some of the most spectacular properties available with their own paved track.

As most of us know, the road to becoming a professional horse racer isn’t easy. From finding a good trainer to paying for the proper tack, it can take years before you’re ready to start competing. That’s why so many people choose to train their horses at a track nearby. And while most racetracks are located far out in the middle of nowhere, some of them can actually be found within a city or suburban area. Also read https://www.smartcashforyourhome.com/

The most famous racetrack in California, Santa Anita Park, is one of these, with its breathtaking backdrop of the snow-capped San Gabriel Mountains. It’s a beautiful sight, and arguably there is no better race track in the country. But it’s also an expensive location to maintain and it would be a huge loss for the industry if it were to close down.

But that’s exactly what might happen. CT Realty, which owns the land that houses Santa Anita, is in talks with a developer who plans to redevelop the property. He wants to keep racing there on a short-term basis and then eventually convert the 320-acre property into residential or commercial uses.

There are a number of factors that would have to fall into place for that to happen, including the approval and funding of historical horse racing machines and some form of gambling. But that’s all speculation. There are no assurances that the deal will ever be finalized, and for now it’s all just talk.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t other track-friendly properties to consider. For example, there’s this property in northwestern Arkansas that’s not only home to a mansion with plenty of room for storing cars—including a McLaren F1 LM and a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Hemi Under Glass—but also a real, eight-turn paved racetrack. If that doesn’t sound like a dream home, we don’t know what does. The property is listed for $3,950,000.
